Easily one of the most addictive chocolates created here in our little Hassocks based factory, situated at the foot of the South Downs. At times I have found myself like Alfred Molina in that famous Chocolat binge scene thanks to this chocolate. We handcraft it from bean to bar using the finest ethically sourced Nicaraguan cocoa beans. The unique flavour is not from any inclusions to our plain milk chocolate, but instead by tweaking one ingredient already present, an entirely different delicious milk chocolate is created.

The Nicalizo variety was determined to be a Heirloom Cocoa by the Heirloom Cacao Preservation (HCP) initiative. Heirloom beans are distinctive in their characteristics and present special/unusual but well-balanced flavours, produced through the beans genetics, terroir, and post-harvest processing
