Horchata (or Orxata as it is called in Catalan) is a popular drink from Valencia, Spain that is made with water, sugar and tiger nuts. From bean to bar we carefully stone grind and blend the tiger nuts with ethically sourced single variety Nicalizo cocoa beans grown in Nicaragua from the region of Nueva Guinea. Creating a dairy-free vegan milk chocolate that doesn't compromise on taste.

The Nicalizo variety was determined to be a Heirloom Cocoa by the Heirloom Cacao Preservation (HCP) initiative. Heirloom beans are distinctive in their characteristics and present special/unusual but well-balanced flavours, produced through the beans genetics, terroir, and post-harvest processing
