Created using organically grown O'Payo cacao beans from Waslala, the Bosawas Natural Reserve in the northern mountains of Nicaragua.
This reserve is highly protected and remote, as it was declared to be a Biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1997. It is the largest nature reserve in Central America

In September 2015, the International Cocoa Organisation recognised Nicaragua as a 100% Fine Cocoa Origin. Only 9 countries in the world are recognised as such.
